The ambition behind Outer Space was to expand and improve learning at Thornhill Primary School by developing a dedicated arts space where students, teachers and neighbours in the local community can explore and enjoy all kinds of creative learning. The kind of creative learning that cannot be carried out effectively in the school or indeed the wider community. The project will be developed over two phases: the first phase featuring a 'Velux Deluxe' roof; the second phase enhancing access and the relationship between indoor and outdoor play by allowing children to climb into the building.
