bla-bla-blarchitecture is talking buildings.
Talking about building, talking to buildings, buildings that talk. The 1950s American sit-com ‘Uncle Ed’ was about a talking horse yet the only one who understood such perversity was its owner, unsurprisingly, an architect. The discourse of architectural theory is similarly loaded with the unintelligible: often a rhetoric borne through considered writing. bla-bla-blarchitecture sees conversation, chat, rap, speech and talk as liberating design through the sharp thinking off-the-cuff commentary that live debate brings. As such the bla-bla-blarchitecture blog focuses more on design-as-a-process rather than design-as-a-product: if you want that go to www.whatarchitecture.com or any other architect’s portfolio based website!
